Several new sponsors have joined the Fintech Awards London for this year’s ceremony.
The Fintech Awards London, a highlight in the fintech industry’s calendar, is announcing the addition of several new sponsors for this year’s ceremony.
The event, which celebrates innovation and excellence in the fintech sector and this year will take place on 21 June as part of Fintech Week London, has attracted a range of high-profile sponsors who are, above all, each committed to supporting the growth of the industry.
The new sponsors include leading financial institutions and technology companies, such as Deloitte, Peel Hunt, Eversheds Sutherland and Evelyn Partners. This is in addition to the Welsh Government, The Fintech Times and Recruit 121.
As a result of these latest sponsor announcements, Fintech Awards London is set to be one of the most successful events in its history.
Shaping the future of finance
“We are thrilled to have the support of these outstanding companies for this year’s Fintech Awards London,” said Matt Hyde, the event organiser. “Their commitment and support to the fintech industry is a testament to the importance of innovation and technology in shaping the future of finance.”
In addition to the new sponsors, the Fintech Awards London has received words of support from several key figures in the financial industry. Andrew Griffith MP, economic secretary to the treasury and City minister, praised the event for its role in promoting the growth of the fintech sector.
“The Fintech Awards London is an important platform for showcasing the best and brightest in the fintech industry,” comments Griffith. “The government is committed to supporting the growth of this sector, and events like this help to raise awareness of the significant contributions that fintech companies are making to our economy.”
The Lord Mayor of the City of London, Nicholas Lyons, also offered words of support for the event. “The UK’s fintech sector remains a global success story. It’s great to see these awards continue to play an important role in recognising those leaders who are shaping innovation in finance.”
“Earlier this month we launched The Centre for Finance, Innovation and Technology (CFIT), which is jointly funded by the City of London Corporation and HM Treasury,” continues Lyons. “This new organisation will be dedicated to making the UK’s fintech sector the very best it can be.”
The Fintech Awards London will take place on 21 June 2023 as part of the proceedings for Fintech Week London and will be held at the Underglobe venue in Southbank, London.
